flOw - Flash Excellence
Well, this flash game is beyond comparison. It is totally unique and atmospheric, having a very beautiful theme. The scene is underwater, with you controlling a strange creature with main subject to feed it so it can grow larger and stronger while evolving. There is a variety of other creatures around, all of them being feed targets for you. Some are harmless and easy to consume, while others are dangerous, trying to consume you!To dive deeper underwater or to return, there are two special creatures on each level of depth (except the first and the last level). Eat the one having a red dot in the center to go a level deeper, or the other with the blue dot to go upper.
The visuals are excellent for a flash game. Even though everything you see in the game consist of simple geometric shapes, with the right effects applied all becomes a beauty for the eye. The same pattern is used for the sound: simple but absolutely effective. The ambience music is so environmental that I actually started to feel that I was being underwater in reality!
To move point the mouse towards the desired direction. Press the left mouse button to accelerate.

I played this game back in Jan or so. I got to the end of it... or so I think I did. There was nothing else to do. I even went all the way back to the first level and couldn't figure out what was next.
And yes... it was fun while I was playing.

As to flOw, I had seen it a while ago, too, but really didn't have the patience to get past the round blob thing's level. One of these days I'll get back to it.

But as it turned out, my story didn't deserved to be dugg.. I joined the digg community 5 days ago, and (as some commenters wrote) this story appeared at the first page of digg.com about 7 months ago. So they removed it. Too bad.
horrible. i lost way too many hours of my day to this.
Felt awesome getting to the second lifeform (round blob thing), but this time around the boss was impossible. Blew almost half an hour swappin life before finally beating him. Figured next time around I'd get to turn into the diamond shaped thingies, but it just went back into the snake. Fun game, just kinda sad about the "end".
I cen see this being on the Wii as it can work well with the wiimote, but I have no idea why would anyone want to play in on a controller like the crippled six axis, you wont even get force feedback.
Maybe you should play it on PS3 before you make a judgment. It is immersive and beautiful.

really annoying game-this game it did absolutely nothing for about 10 minutes until I was really annoyed-I only grew by a tiny bit and I hate hundreds of things

Flash game is one of the importance of interactirity Games need to react to the player. The player should manipulate a virtual presence, and the game should react accordingly.

I recently replayed this game, I lo ve it, it's really beautiful and inmerssive, but I get scared in the darkest levels, especially with the boss, yesterday I beat the boss in the yellow stage and the game started again in blue, and I was the snake again, i tried to finished this and I found out there were two bosses!!
I got scared beacause I wasn't expecting it, it startled me, I couldn't beat the second boss, i got lost in the deep water and couldn't find it again, and I was realy tired and still kind of scared.
I'm triying again for sure!!
